# License Server Validation

License Server Validation lets a protected application ask an IntelliLock License Server website whether a license is still valid. Current license files use stable record IDs for an exact decision; older files remain supported through a conservative customer/product compatibility lookup.

The former ASP.NET Web Management wizard has moved to the dedicated IntelliLock License Server ribbon tab.
